Chhattisgarh Pradesh congress President deepak Baij has sent a defamation notice to former Union minister and tribal leader Arvind Neta, minister Kedar Kashyap and mp Mahesh Kashyap. Baij's lawyer has sought a reply from all three within 15 days. The PCC Chief has alleged in the notice that an attempt is being made to kill his political future by accusing him of religious conversion.

This whole matter started when former Union minister Arvind Netam said in an RSS program in nagpur that he wanted to ask deepak Baij whether he has converted to Christianity? Has Baij converted to Christianity? congress should clarify its policy regarding religious conversion.

What is written in Baij's notice?

Chhattisgarh Pradesh congress President deepak Baij's lawyer has written in the notice that his clients come from the tribal community. He has deep faith in his deity Lord Budhadev, Mahadev and Maa Danteshwari. But Arvind Netam's false, misleading and fabricated statement has deeply affected deepak Baij's social reputation and honour.

Netam's statement has tarnished his image and his dignity has been tarnished in the entire society. Due to which he has suffered a mental trauma. Baij's lawyer has further written that by deliberately making fabricated and false allegations, an attempt is being made by the concerned people to kill the political future of my client.

This act falls under the category of crime under Section 353 and Section 356 of the indian Penal Code. For this, why should a criminal case not be filed against you in the court under Section 353 and 356 of the indian Penal Code. Baij's lawyer further wrote that you should answer this to me within 15 days either yourself or through your lawyer.
