Karnataka deputy cm DK Shivakumar said, "I do not want any recommendation from any of my MLAs. I must further strengthen the party discipline. We have to focus on the local body elections and the 2028 assembly elections."
DK Shivakumar said, "I don't want any mla to speak... The party high command will take action against those who are speaking too much. I don't want anyone to support me. We will discuss among ourselves and solve the problems. There is no change in leadership. My priority is to win the assembly elections."
'We must stand with the common man'
He targeted the bjp over the increase in railway fares. DK Shivakumar said, "Leader of Opposition in karnataka assembly R ashok and karnataka bjp President BY Vijayendra should react to this. The central government is continuously increasing petrol, diesel, and now railway fares. We must stand with the common man."

Congress's karnataka affairs in-charge Randeep Singh Surjewala held a two-day meeting with congress MLAs regarding the internal affairs of the party. He said, "We are meeting with our MLAs and evaluating the work done in their areas. We are not taking an opinion on leadership change in Karnataka."
