Hamas has kept many Israelis hostage till now. In the video released by them, the Israeli hostage is shown digging his own grave in an underground tunnel, which he is calling his grave.
This is the second such video of 24-year-old Evyatar David released by the Palestinian organization Hamas within 48 hours. In the video, David looks very weak and is able to speak with great difficulty. In the video released by Hamas, he is seen digging a shovel in a closed underground tunnel. He is seen narrating his ordeal in a very low voice in front of the camera.

'I am going straight to my grave'
David says in Hebrew, "I am now digging my own grave. Every day my body is getting weaker. I am going straight to my grave. This is the grave where I will be buried. The time to be free and to sleep in my bed with my family is passing by." After this, he starts crying. Evyatar David's family has given permission to release the video. In a statement, they said, "The deliberate starvation of our son as part of a propaganda campaign is one of the most horrific incidents the world has seen. He is being starved just for Hamas' propaganda."
What did Benjamin Netanyahu say?
Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office said that after the release of the video, the prime minister spoke to David's family and consoled them.
