Bihar Results 2025: Grand Alliance in Trouble
Early trends in the bihar Assembly election 2025 show the nda far ahead, creating a major setback for the Grand Alliance.
As of 12 PM, nda leads in 189 seats, the Grand Alliance in 50, and others in 3.
Jansuraj, led by prashant kishor, shows no lead, surprising many observers.
The trends clearly show that the Grand Alliance is struggling to regain public confidence.
1. Empty election Promises
Tejashwi Yadav announced major promises like jobs for every household, pensions, and women-focused schemes.
No clear funding plan or implementation timeline was shared.
Despite repeated claims, the promised blueprint never arrived.
This weakened public trust and helped the nda label these promises as unrealistic, successfully mobilizing its voter base.
2. Damaging “Jungle Raj” & Religious Narrative
The Grand Alliance retained Muslim support, but this image hurt them statewide.
BJP leveraged the old “Jungle Raj” accusation tied to Lalu Yadav.
Tejashwi’s Waqf Bill remarks sparked controversy.
Viral reports of RJD candidates brandishing weapons during campaigns revived negative memories, pushing voters toward the NDA.
3. Caste-Heavy Seat Distribution
RJD fielded 52 Yadav candidates out of 144 (36%).
This deepened the image of caste bias, causing upper castes and EBCs to drift away.
The bjp used this to build a narrative of “Yadav Raj,” influencing urban and middle-class voters.
4. Internal Alliance Distrust
RJD behaved as the dominant force, sidelining congress and the Left.
Constant disputes over seat-sharing weakened the alliance.
The “Tejashwi Prana” manifesto projected individual ambition, not coalition unity.
5. NDA’s Strong Unity & Leadership Trust
NDA displayed clarity and unity, both in seat-sharing and campaigning.
Modi’s rallies provided a strong narrative push.
Public confidence grew in the Modi–Nitish duo, especially after indications that Nitish would continue as CM.
6. Minimizing Lalu’s Image Backfired
Tejashwi tried to project a new generation, reducing Lalu’s presence in posters.
NDA used this to accuse the RJD of hiding the “Jungle Raj” past.
Many voters agreed, shifting support to the NDA.
