Rajpal Yadav Responds to Priyadarshan’s Comment on Education
Actor rajpal yadav responded to director Priyadarshan’s comment linking his check bounce case to his education, stating that it was completely wrong and that he is educated.
Rajpal Yadav, recently granted interim bail in the check bounce case, clarified that his educational background had nothing to do with his legal troubles.
In an interview with Screen, Yadav emphasized that he has been working in the film industry from age 11 to 55 and has built a 25–30 year-long career, proving that education was never a limitation.
He mentioned that even veterans face difficulties sometimes, but such challenges are unrelated to formal education.
Rajpal Yadav expressed respect for Priyadarshan, saying he holds no bitterness and considers himself like Priyadarshan’s son, having worked in over 50 films with him.
He also mentioned his admiration for directors ram gopal varma and David Dhawan, stating that their opinions and judgments about him do not matter much.
Addressing rumors about needing favors, Yadav clarified that he does not rely on sympathy or special treatment to get work in the industry. He highlighted that cinema is his passion, and he works to ensure steady opportunities.
Actor sonu sood had offered work to Yadav, but he dismissed any misconception that he needs to ask for projects.
On the professional front, rajpal yadav will appear in Bhoot Bangla alongside Akshay Kumar, marking a reunion with Priyadarshan.
He is also part of the ensemble cast of Welcome to the Jungle and continues to work on other projects, including ‘Haiwaan’, two web series, and two additional films.
