Namibia and zimbabwe both won key matches against kenya and rwanda in the ICC Men's t20 world cup Africa Region Qualifier on Monday. A disciplined namibia bowling attack forced kenya to work hard in the early overs. Kenya's openers Rushabhvardhan patel (1), Collins Obuya (15), and Pushkar Sharma (5) were all dismissed for low scores.

With their vital knocks, Irfan Karim (43*) and Sachin Bhudia (18) helped to steady the innings. kenya finished the innings at 104/6 due to a lack of firepower in the last phase.

Namibia added 20 runs for the first wicket while chasing 105, and Michael van Lingen was the first player to depart after edging a ball taken behind the wicket.

Namibia lost three more wickets in the next overs in a span of only 27 runs. kenya appeared to have found a way back in, but Jan Frylinck (57*) and JJ Smit (14*) put a stop to their attempt with a quick-paced match-winning stand of 59 runs.

Namibia now leads the Africa Region Qualifier points standings after this victory. They have four victories from four encounters and eight points. Despite losing this game, kenya maintained their second-place position with six points.

Zimbabwe defeated rwanda by 144 runs in the second game of the day. Zimbabwe's hopes of qualifying for the t20 world cup were dashed after a devastating defeat to Uganda, but they produced a strong performance against rwanda to keep their prospects alive.
