 As the tenure of indian team coach rahul dravid comes to an end, bcci has decided to extend his coaching responsibility. ravi Shastri's tenure as the coach of the indian team ended with the 2021 t20 world cup series. After that rahul dravid was given the responsibility of coaching the indian team. bcci has signed a contract with rahul dravid for 2 years to take over as coach in november 2021. This agreement ended with the world cup cricket series. Under the coach of rahul dravid, the indian team suffered defeat in all 3 ICC series namely t20 world cup semi-final defeat, World Test championship final defeat, and world cup final defeat.
