Vaibhav's father Sanjeev Suryavanshi responded to the allegations of age fraud against him. He said that when Vaibhav was 8 years old, he had an official bone test. He told that this test is certified by the BCCI. This test is done only to check the age of young players.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi, a 14-year-old talented player of rajasthan Royals, created history by becoming the youngest player to score a century in both IPL and t20 cricket. The teenager created history by scoring a century in 35 balls against gujarat Titans. This is the fastest century scored by an indian player and the second fastest century ever in the IPL. This was Suryavanshi's only third IPL match. At the age of 14 years and 32 days, he played a blistering innings of 101 runs in just 38 balls and scored centuries in IPL and t20 cricket.
