There are 20,416 bank branches, 4,00,932 bank Mitra and bc Sakhi, 18,747 ATMs and 4,40,095 banking centers working in the state. These facilities are helping people from cities to remote villages. Steps like bank Mitra and bc Sakhi have also provided employment to women and made banking easier in rural areas.

cm yogi Adityanath's special emphasis on DBT is another big success of UP. Through this, the money of government schemes is reaching directly to the accounts of the beneficiaries, without any middleman. 207 schemes of 11 departments are running through this system, which includes 113 central and 95 state government schemes. In 2024-25, Rs 1 lakh 11 thousand 637 crore has been given to more than 9 crore 8 lakh beneficiaries. This amount has reached the poor, farmers, women and the needy, improving their lives.
