40 wild elephants invading the tea estate!!!

The tea estate has been severely affected in the Valparai area near pollachi in the coimbatore district, where more than 40 elephants have suddenly camped at a tea plantation. More than 40 wild elephants suddenly entered the tea plantation from the forest in the Muthumudi Estate area of Valparai near Pollachi. Plantation workers screamed as they saw a herd of elephants entering the tea plantation. For the first time in Valparai, more than 40 elephants are camping in one place and the forest department is warning the public not to move unnecessarily in the area.


The forest department has also advised all workers to keep the lights on in front of their houses in the evening. More than 40 elephants are camping in the tea estate, causing unrest in the area.

Ganesan, the Deputy director of the Anaimalai tiger Reserve was informed about this. Later, on his orders, Manampalli Forest Officer Manikandan led the Forest Department and NCF personnel to intensify to drive the elephant herd into the nearby Valparai forest in the state of Kerala.
