How christmas Name derived….
The word christmas is derived from the combination of 2 words "Christ and Mass".Since the exact year of Jesus' birth is not known, historians speculate that he may have been born between 7 bc and 2 BC.Similarly, some historians have suggested that december 25 was celebrated as christmas, based on Jewish seasons and calendars.
It was said that christmas was first celebrated by Western Christians in the 4th century.But others denied it and celebrated the birth on january 6th.
 However, christmas is celebrated all over the world as a very special day.Since Christians consider this day special, they also have the habit of starting many new missions on that day.
On christmas Day 800 AD, Emperor Charlemagne ascended the throne.He was later crowned king of Edmund in 855 AD.In 1377, king Richard II of england celebrated christmas with much fanfare.The new island, discovered in indonesia in 1643, was named "Christmas Island".
Thus christmas became popular among the people of the country and later became a tradition celebrated all over the world.The celebration expanded on many angles, from exchanging gift items and hosting competitions to sharing the joy on christmas Day.

History has it that some masters gave slaves complete freedom at home, not just on Christmas.Europeans believed that on days with long nights in the year they would cause harm to the people.
Thus they have been celebrating christmas in order for the sun to rise after long nights.
It is a happy thing that all the people of the world are uniting and singing the praises of Jesus Christ on this auspicious day.
