A star-studded scene parody the infamous 2020 celebrity cover of john Lennon's "Imagine" made by DC Extended Universe actress Gal Gadot was featured in Season 3 of The Boys' eagerly awaited "Herogasm" adaption. The Deep, played by Chace Crawford, attempted to console the people in a web video after recent "supervillain" attacks in the opening scene of episode 6 of the most recent season of the Prime Video series. Before starting to sing "Imagine," the supe continues, "We're all in this together."

Along with A-Train and Black Noir, the video has guest appearances from a number of real-life celebrities, including Patton Oswalt, josh Gad, Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, Elizabeth Banks, Kumail Nanjiani, Aisha Tyler, and Rose Byrne (who previously voiced The Deep's gills in Season 2). The original cover of Lennon's 1971 song was made public by Gadot around the same time that lockdowns against the coronavirus (COVID-19) began in the united states in an effort to "get through [the pandemic] together."

The 2020 video did not contain any characters with superpowers, but it did include a number of famous faces, including Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal, Natalie Portman, Amy Adams, Will Ferrell, and Mark Ruffalo. The song's lyrics, which refer to there being "no heaven" as many people were dying from COVID-19, caused the video to generate a great deal of negative public reaction.
