E-commerce platforms have emerged as the preferred option for quick buying in the current wallet PLATFORM' target='_blank' title='digital-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>digital era. From luxury apparel to your regular grocery, these platforms provide a wide selection of goods with the ease of doorstep delivery. Undoubtedly, this has made our lives easier, but there are drawbacks as well. A consumer recently received a somewhat nasty surprise in his flipkart order: live insects within a packet of makhana.

Siddharth Shah, the client, resorted to social networking platform 'X' (previously known as Twitter) to voice his problems. In his post, he claimed to have bought a premium phool makhana packet from flipkart that was non-returnable, only to find "live bugs and little insects" crawling inside. Mr. Shah tried contacting Flipkart's customer support, but he didn't receive a response. He uploaded pictures of the makhana packet, the insects he discovered inside, and the online order information as proof of his bad experience.

In a tweet, siddharth Shah wrote, "I ordered Farmley Premium Phool Makhana from #Flipkart. When I opened the package, I saw live bugs and little insects. It's horrible to go through this. Furthermore, there is no return policy for the product." He also included images to support his claim.

After some time, flipkart addressed the issue and initiated a refund for the product. In a follow-up post, siddharth Shah confirmed the refund and expressed his gratitude, saying, "Update: flipkart has issued a refund for this order. Thanks everyone for all the support!"
