An elephant swung a Russian visitor by its trunk, sending her flying into the air and hitting the ground hard. On Tuesday, february 13, near the Amer fort precincts of Jaipur, an event occurred. The management of Amer fort outlawed Gouri, the female elephant, and her mahout's services following the event.

The woman is shown being violently swung about by the elephant, which eventually slams her to the ground in the CCTV footage of the incident. Riding on the furious elephant's back was a second individual, the jumbo's mahout, who was also hurled to the ground.

Following the incident, fort authorities sent the female Russian visitor to Sawai Man Singh Hospital for medical attention.
Animal rights group PETA also posted a video of the incident on the microblogging platform X, formerly known as Twitter, tagging the state's Forest Department, deputy chief minister Diya Kumari, and rajasthan Chief minister Bhajanlal Sharma. PETA asked them to move the elephant, Gouri, to a wildlife sanctuary.

It's worth noting that Gouri has attacked individuals previously. The female elephant also assaulted a nearby merchant in october 2023, seriously injuring him. Stay tuned with us for more updates.
