Mangalagiri: deputy chief minister pawan kalyan on sunday emphasized the significance of protection for electricians, who often endanger their lives in their profession.
He also announced plans to organize job festivals for unemployed adolescents inside the pithapuram constituency every three months.
Speaking at an assembly with 325 private electricians from throughout the pithapuram constituency at his camp workplace in Mangalagiri, pawan kalyan disbursed safety kits designed to defend them in their workplaces. Each package consists of important electric gear, rubber gloves, protective shoes, and a jacket.
Recalling a recent tragedy, pawan kalyan stated, "The unintentional loss of life of Pallapu suresh, a Dalit teenager running as an electrician in Mallam village, pithapuram constituency, in late April, deeply disturbed me. suresh died from electrocution at the same time as performing electrical repair paintings at a person's home. His loss of life left his family without a breadwinner and in profound grief, while additionally leading to various conflicts inside the village".

"Determined to save you from such incidents from routine, we are distributing protection kits to all 325 personal electricians in the pithapuram constituency," Pawan said. Past immediate protection, arrangements have also been made for economic reimbursement. "In spite of protection measures, if a life is misplaced, we've made provisions to provide Rs 2 lakh through the Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, applied via the Union Ministry of Labour and Employment, and some other Rs 2 lakh through Chandranna Bima," he introduced.
Commissioner of the panchayat raj branch Krishnateja elaborated on recent modifications in compensation. "3 months ago, three laborers died after being hit by a vehicle. We supplied Rs 50,000 repayment consistent with the individual as according to the existing authorities order," he said. "Upon mastering this, pawan kalyan revised a ten-to-twelve-month-vintage authorities order ensuring affected households now receive Rs 2 lakh in reimbursement."
Moreover, deeming Rs 2 lakh insufficient, pawan kalyan initiated a week-long drive to offer insurance to at least one crore laborers. "In the destiny, if any laborer dies accidentally, their family will receive Rs 4 lakh in reimbursement."
Kakinada district collector Sagili Shan Mohan said that the authorities have decided to revive the welfare board for production employees.
