As the telangana assembly elections came to a close at 5 p.m. today, several exit poll reports suggesting the outcome of the voting began to circulate. According to the majority of exit polls, congress has the upper hand in creating the next administration. However, polls suggest that the state may end up with a hung assembly.

According to the polls, the incumbent Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) would lose a significant number of seats.

The BRS (formerly TRS) won 88 seats in 2018, while the bjp got only one. The AIMIM had won seven seats, while the congress had won 19.

The magic number in telangana, where there are 119 MLAs, is 60.
