Hanuman fails to captivate the tamil and malayalam markets. It is commonly known that the indian superhero film HanuMan has become a tremendous smash, setting several box office records. While the film does admirably in telugu and has a solid grip in hindi, Hanuman fails to catch the tamil and malayalam markets.

Many tollywood films have earned exceptionally well at the hindi box office, but the majority of them have failed to capture the tamil and malayalam audiences. In tamil Nadu, the film grossed roughly 2.25 crores, with the majority coming from telugu, while in kerala, it grossed less than 50 lakhs, a terrible performance. Many films are failing to conquer the tamil Nadu and kerala markets because spectators are not entertained by other languages' films, with the exception of a few large budget films.
