The election commission has issued directives prohibiting volunteers from disbursing pensions in andhra pradesh areas. The ec requested that the government assign other public servants to handle the state's pension distribution. The state's chief secretary, however, neglected to create backup plans, which caused the pension distribution to be delayed. As all of this was going on, Jana Sena head pawan kalyan publicly criticized the ycp administration and the CS for not paying pensions.

He made the point that while the ycp government can send representatives to sell movie tickets at cinemas, it cannot locate representatives to give pensions to the elderly, widows, and those with disabilities. Taking to the X, Pawan showed a few government notifications and cuttings from the past in which the ycp leadership designated revenue officials as in-charges at cinemas showing Pawan's "Bheemla Nayak" to keep an eye on ticket prices.

He asked what is preventing chief minister YS jagan from treating pension recipients with the same consideration. "A polite reminder that GOVT representatives were dispatched by your ycp government to sell movie tickets. In the same vein, since the election commission has ordered that volunteer services not be used, why don't you dispatch the same authorities to deliver old age pensions at their residences? chief minister jagan, what's holding you back?" asked Pawan.
