The accused persons created a deep fake video of the speech and circulated it widely on various social media platforms. He said that the police should immediately remove the deep fake video and register a case against the accused persons who shared it with the intention of creating disruption, enmity and hatred among different castes.

Delhi police booked the accused under sections 153 (causing provocation with intent to cause riot), 153A (promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race, place of birth, residence, language, etc.) of the indian Penal Code (IPC). An FIR has been registered under sections 465 (forgery), 469 (forgery intended to damage the reputation of a party), and 171G (publishing a false statement with intent to influence the result of an election) and the Information technology Act.
