Following their split in 2022, dhanush and Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth ultimately filed for divorce. The pair haven't disclosed their divorce's cause, but singer Suchithra has made an astounding accusation. She said that during their marriage, dhanush and Aishwaryaa had "cheated on each other." She also mentioned that when they were together, the ex-couple would go on dates with other individuals. The artist, who hasn't been friendly with dhanush for years, termed aishwarya a terrible mother and said that dhanush is carrying out his father's responsibilities.

In an interview with the YouTube channel Kumudam, Suchithra was talking about several controversies when someone brought up dhanush and Aishwaryaa's marriage. "Aishwaryaa claims dhanush has cheated on her, but she has done it throughout their marriage as well. Double standards, isn't that right? dhanush has cheated on Aishwaryaa, and Aishwaryaa has cheated on Dhanush. The couple in question has a history of routinely cheating on one another.

Suchithra said, "They have had small flings," when the host questioned her about the basis for the accusation. Along with their date, they had enjoyed drinks at the pub. Suchithra questioned, "When you're in a marriage, will you go on a date?" in response to the host's claim that going on dates is not odd.
 
Suchithra stated that dhanush is a better parent despite their differences. She stated of Rajinikanth, "I hope the kids stay with their grandfather." dhanush and Aishwaryaa have not yet responded to these allegations.
