The price of commercial LPG cylinder has been reduced in the country from today i.e. 1 august 2025. However, there has been no change in the prices of 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder. That is, domestic consumers have not got any relief at the moment. From today, the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in the country has been reduced by Rs 33.50.
Cut for the second consecutive month
This is the second consecutive month that the rate of commercial LPG cylinder has been reduced. After this, its new rate in delhi has become Rs 1,631.50, while in mumbai it is being sold for around Rs 1,583. Whereas in kolkata from today, the new rate of commercial cylinder has become Rs 1,735.50 and in chennai around Rs 1,790.00 per cylinder. Earlier in the month of July, the price of commercial 19 kg LPG cylinder was Rs 1665 in delhi and Rs 1616.50 in Kolkata-Mumbai.
While the 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder is currently Rs 853 in the national capital delhi and Rs 852.50 in the financial capital Mumbai. oil companies said in a statement issued by them that this revision in the prices of commercial cylinders will be applicable from august 1 across the country. After this, due to the reduction in the price of commercial cylinders, restaurants, other commercial establishments and hotels have definitely got some relief.
It is worth noting that there has been no change in the prices of domestic gas since april 8, 2025. There is also relief for those people who are completely dependent on it due to no change in the prices of domestic LPG cylinders. Its price is reviewed by the oil companies at the beginning of every month.
