With the release date of Allu Arjun's much anticipated "Pushpa 2: The Rule" drawing near, everyone is wondering if the movie can surpass Shah Rukh Khan's "Jawan" in hindi Day 1 receipts. Due to Allu Arjun's star power and the enormous anticipation around the sequel, it was once anticipated that pushpa 2 would easily surpass Jawan's ₹65 Cr. opening day collection. However, this now appears to be much more challenging. Even though the movie's trailer received positive reviews, it fell short of expectations and did not inspire consumers to purchase tickets right away.

The movie is doing well, but it isn't living up to the enormous expectations that people have for it, according to early ticket sales in the US. According to a social media survey by a well-known trade expert, 60–70% of respondents think the pushpa 2 might defeat SRK's Jawan. Because of the reaction to the trailer, the remaining 30–40% of the population appears to believe that the movie won't surpass Jawan's Day 1 receipts.

People were hoping that pushpa 2 would be the next Baahubali 2, which led to a complete outburst at the BO, which now appears much more difficult. With Jawan's ₹65 Cr. still seems attainable but a more difficult prospect, the movie could surpass the ₹50 Cr. threshold on Day 1. As the movie prepares to open in theaters on december 5, 2024, fans everywhere are anticipating it with great anticipation.
