An H-1B applicant described how, despite receiving several employment offers in the US, he was unable to secure visa sponsorship.  In Trump's America, hundreds of foreign workers are living this nightmare.  After going through several rounds of interviews, one individual nearly was hired by the organization, even inquiring about the start date.  However, the employee received the dreaded email, "We've changed our policy," after the H-1B conversations.  No sponsorship for a visa at this time.

He revealed that two to three recruiters still make contact each day.  However, they either stop talking about H1B or ignore him completely.  The majority of employers simply don't want to deal with visa transfers anymore, according to one of the recruiters.  Nobody can predict how much more irrational Trump's war on immigrants will get at this uncertain moment.

As a result, businesses are being cautious, which is destroying the hopes of thousands of H1B employees.  Indians who contribute significantly to US workplaces are in a precarious position because many of them could be laid off at any time.  It is discouraging and disappointing for the entire community that has supported America for many years.  People are wondering if this is the new normal as there are no indications that things will get better in the future.
