Politics is at its peak regarding Pahalgam terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir. First chief minister Siddaramaiah said that he is not in favor of war with Pakistan. Now his minister is saying that the terrorists did not ask about religion and then shoot. Siddaramaiah's statement has become the headlines of Pakistani media, which it showed in its favor.

Siddaramaiah government minister gave a controversial statement saying that terrorists do not ask their target's religion before killing them. karnataka Excise minister RB Timmapur said that he does not think that the killers would have asked the target's religion before shooting. He said, "Will the person who is firing ask about caste or religion? He will just fire and go away. Think practically. He will not stand there and ask and then fire."

'This madness should not happen'

The minister said the country was upset by the heinous attack and alleged that a conspiracy was being hatched to present it as a religious issue. The minister in the congress government said, "I think when they were carrying out the terror attack, they did not ask about religion. If they had asked, there should not be this madness of using such a statement to politicise the issue on the basis of religion."

BJP hits back

BJP spokesperson CR Kesavan reacted strongly to the karnataka minister's remarks, calling it barbaric and evil. He said, "The barbaric and evil remarks of karnataka congress minister Thimmapur have insulted the integrity of the bereaved families and demeaned the courageous sacrifice of the victims killed in the Pakistan-backed Islamist terrorist attack in Pahalgam. Even in this hour of national mourning, the communal congress party which has mortgaged its soul and conscience for its vote bank politics of religious appeasement is uttering lies."
