Online ire and concerns over police conduct have been sparked by a startling video from Nainital, uttarakhand, that shows a police officer slapping a female tourist. The tourist party recorded the incident, which took place close to the Ramgarh outpost. The policeman, who is identified in the video as U.N. Gulab Kamboj, stops the group for riding a scooty without a helmet. When the police hit the individual filming, the camera shakes, and the situation rapidly gets out of hand.

In the video, a group of Delhi-based friends who are travelers voice their frustration. One of them asserts, "We came from delhi to visit Nainital, and the police stopped us just for not wearing helmets."  The women are clearly agitated and the atmosphere is becoming tense as the little one-minute video concludes.

 Social Media Responds
@Cyber_Huntss uploaded the video on X, where it has received thousands of reactions and more than 2 lakh views. The post demanded that the uttarakhand government take action and denounce the policeman's behavior.

While some believed the visitors could have cooperated more, others were upset with the officer for employing physical force.

The event occurred during a routine vehicle inspection, according to the uttarakhand police, who responded promptly.  They clarified that the passenger was not wearing a helmet, the scooty had no registration papers, and it lacked a number plate.  The cops pledged to look into the altercation and admitted it.
