Pakistan pleaded with the world community for "more loans" on friday, alleging "heavy losses inflicted by the enemy," as india continued to effectively defend its territories and people from enormous aircraft attacks from across the border. The Economic Affairs Division of the Pakistani government posted on the social networking site X, stating that the "government of pakistan appeals to international Partners for more loans after heavy losses inflected by enemy."

“Amid escalating war and stocks crash, we urge international partners to help de-escalate. Nation urged to remain steadfast,” the official Economic Affairs Division X handle posted.

Later, the Pakistani government backtracked from its post, claiming that this particular X handle has been ‘hacked’.

Pakistan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs said it did not tweet the post on X and claimed that their “X account has been hacked”. The post came ahead of the crucial meeting of the international Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington on friday (US time) to decide on the bailout package for Pakistan.

India's executive director at the IMF will present the nation's stance at the board meeting of the international organization, according to Foreign Secretary vikram Misri.

At a press conference, he declared, "I have no doubt that our executive director will present India's position."  "The board's judgments are another story. But to those who willingly open their wallets to help this country, I believe the case for pakistan should be self-evident," he remarked.

Misri added that a large number of the 24 bailout plans approved by the IMF for pakistan had not been successfully completed.

On the intervening night of May 8 and May 9, indian Army officials said that the Pakistani military launched many attacks along the whole Western border using drones and other weapons.  Along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistani forces also committed many ceasefire violations (CFVs).

According to a statement from the indian Army, the drone strikes were successfully repelled and a suitable response was provided.  The Pakistani military's effort to attack military installations in Jammu, Pathankot, Udhampur, and other places was foiled by india on thursday evening.
