Superstar Rajinikanth has wrapped up filming Coolie, which is scheduled for release worldwide on august 14.  Nelson is the director of Jailer 2, which Rajinikanth recently started filming.  Bollywood actress vidya balan has been cast in the movie, and the producers will shortly release an official declaration.  In Jailer, ramya krishna portrayed Rajinikanth's wife; vidya Balan's part in the movie is yet unknown. 

Shiva Rajkumar, Jackie Shroff, and mohanlal all had lengthy cameos in Jailer, and the sequel will also have special cameos.  There are serious rumors that Nandamuri balakrishna has been cast in Jailer 2 for a significant police role.  In Jailer 2, mohanlal and shiva Rajkumar will return to their roles.  Although the team has not yet made a declaration, there are intense rumors that king nagarjuna has been approached to play the main antagonist.  

Recently, Nag collaborated with Rajinikanth in Coolie.  Jailer 2 will be released the following year and was produced on a huge budget. sun Pictures is the producer, and Anirudh is the composer. Already the team confirmed some big names and even nagarjuna is expected to be part of this sequel.  watch out this space for more updates.
