Rajinikanth's Coolie is one of the most anticipated tamil films right now.  The movie is scheduled for release in theaters on august 14, 2025, and social media is occasionally ablaze with the most recent information about it.  Furthermore, according to recent sources, the film has secured a significant international agreement before its premiere.

Industry insider Ramesh bala claims that Coolie has secured a significant international rights agreement with leading distributors.  This accomplishment is the first that any kollywood movie has addressed till date. This deal was concluded on a spectacular offer of Rs. 80 crore, according to another report by 123 Telugu.  If confirmed, it would be the biggest pre-release contract ever secured by a movie of that kind.  

Even prior to its debut, Coolie appears to have attracted notice for a number of reasons. According to a News18 report, the tamil actor is reportedly earning an enormous salary for his involvement in the film, ranging from Rs. 260 to Rs. 280 crore. This puts Thalaiva over aamir khan and Jackie Chan as the highest-paid actor in Asia right now. 

As for other news, Coolie's release date has also generated a lot of controversy among fans because it will not have a solo run at the box office. It would, however, be in direct opposition to war 2, another expensive film that is also scheduled for release on august 14. With kiara advani, Jr. NTR, and hrithik roshan in the main parts, the Ayan Mukerji-directed film has also promised success to its audience. When they both appear on huge screens, it will be interesting to see which one does better at the box office.
