After the terrorist attacks in Pahalgam, Kashmir, india gave a befitting reply to pakistan under Operation Sindoor. During this time, india also canceled the Indus Water Treaty. pakistan has once again become furious on this matter. pakistan People's party President and former Foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, in an interview to Sky News, called these allegations of india misleading and clarified the position of his government.
Bilawal Zardari says that India's allegation on Pakistan is false and has been made without any evidence. He said that "India should accept that this attack was carried out by the organizations present in their own area. Till date India has not been able to name a single terrorist who was involved in this attack. If he came from pakistan, then which was his village, from which border did he come?"
Pakistan's strong reaction to the Indus Water Treaty
Bilawal also reacted to the suspension of the Indus Water Treaty and said that India's threat to stop the supply of water is a violation of the United Nations Charter. If india tries to stop the water, pakistan will consider it an act of war. He further clarified that india cannot "suspend" this treaty because it is an international treaty, which also includes parties like the World Bank.
"We want peace but india will have to talk"
Pakistan is constantly demanding peace and dialogue, but it is disappointed with India's refusal. Bilawal said that we did not want war. We showed restraint even in the conflict, but india does not want to talk, that is why we are seeking help from the international community.
Clarification on America's role and FATF
Bilawal said that America had played a role in bringing about a ceasefire and he is grateful to President trump and American officials for this. On the comment of American mp Brad Sherman on terrorism, he said that when I was the Foreign minister, we had progressed from FATF Grey List to White List. pakistan is taking strict action against terrorist organizations.
