Following friday night's New York premiere, a second wave of social media reactions have been released online, and they are a little more... balanced than the first wave, which was nearly unanimously positive. 
Some critics have focused on specific aspects that just made the film less enjoyable for them overall, but many seem to have been won over by this most recent installment in the popular Dino-disaster franchise (it's being hailed as the best since Jurassic Park III... though how much of an accomplishment that would be is up for debate).
Like the past JW films, the film may disappoint those who are looking for a bit more meat on the bone because of its shallow characters and poor writing, but it sounds like those looking for dinosaur action and some thrilling set pieces will be happy.
