Rekha Gupta, the chief minister of delhi, praised the Commission for air Quality Management's (CAQM) decision to postpone the national capital's end-of-life (EOL) vehicle policy implementation until november 1. She said the commission took note of the people's concerns, which were brought up by the delhi government.
"The previous governments never understood this problem being faced by the people," cm rekha Gupta told reporters. They didn't work on policy or pollution. We had brought up the issue that the people of delhi were facing, and they shouldn't have to endure injustice, when the CAQM decided to issue this order, which also included the court's ruling.
They have postponed this decision until november 1, 2025, in recognition of our position, and we will continue to endeavor to provide assistance to the delhi residents. The previous administration caused all of this confusion, and our government will try to resolve it.
