This is the first time in the 92-year history of the company that a woman will become the managing director and CEO. priya is currently the President of beauty and Wellbeing at HUL's parent company Unilever. Her journey at HUL started in 1995. Since then, she has played a leadership role in many different segments of the company like Home Care, beauty and Wellbeing and Personal Care.
She was appointed Executive director of the home Care Segment at HUL from 2014 to 2020. Then between 2020 and 2022, she served as Executive director of beauty and Personal Care at HUL.
As President of beauty and Wellbeing, priya has managed a business of 13.2 billion euros with brands like Dove, Sunsilk, Clear. priya will be appointed as MD and CEO of the company for 5 years. Her term will end on July 31, 2030.
