Odisha:  Another minor girl in odisha set herself on fire and gave up her life. After the fourth such incident in a month, the opposition has attacked the BJP. Former odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik said that the bjp could not instill confidence in the safety of daughters.

The opposition has attacked the cases of self-immolation of minor girls that have been coming to the fore in Odisha. Former odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik surrounded the bjp government of the state. He said that the bjp could not instill confidence in the safety of daughters. The government failed to create a system where daughters feel safe and respected. Four girls have died in similar incidents within a month.

The former chief minister wrote in a post on instagram that it was very sad, shocking, and painful to know that another girl from Gasilat in Bargarh set herself on fire and gave up her life. In this hour of grief, my condolences are with that girl, and prayers are with the family. May god grant the family members the strength to bear this irreparable loss.

He wrote in his post that it is extremely sad that our girls are spraying inflammable substances on themselves to take their own lives, and it is heartbreaking. Within a month, four girls have lost their lives in similar circumstances. In the death of every innocent, the pain of a daughter of Odisha is hidden, which became so unbearable that she could not find any other way but to take her own life. These four deaths are not isolated cases. Many such girls are dying tragically every day by becoming victims of crime.

The former cm said that their desperation is not just a personal tragedy. Every tragedy reflects the failure to hear their cries. The bjp administration has failed to instill confidence in the system, where our daughters feel safe, valued, and heard. How long will the bjp government wait to stop these cases? The painful silence and inaction of the bjp government are making the daughters of odisha even more insecure.
