1. A Unified Commitment to a Drug-Free Future

The event witnessed a significant turnout, with more than 500 students and 25 teachers participating in the pledge ceremony. This collective commitment underscores the school's dedication to fostering a drug-free environment and promoting the well-being of its students

2. Educational and Interactive Sessions

The programme featured informative sessions focusing on early intervention, de-addiction, and rehabilitation strategies. A highlight was a street play (Nukkad Natak) performed by students, delivering impactful anti-drug messages to their peers. These activities aimed to engage students creatively while educating them about the dangers of substance abuse

3. Promoting Support Systems

Emphasizing the importance of accessible support, the event highlighted the NCB's MANAS Helpline (1933), a resource offering information and assistance related to drug abuse and trafficking. This initiative is part of a broader effort to provide students with the tools and support they need to make informed decisions and seek help when necessary

4. A Model for Other Institutions

Following the success of this programme, over 100 schools across the country have been identified to launch similar initiatives, aiming to create drug-free school environments nationwide. This expansion reflects a growing recognition of the importance of addressing substance abuse at the school level and the role educational institutions play in shaping the future of students

5. A Step Towards a Healthier Society

This initiative is part of a broader collaboration between CBSE and NCB, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding signed on september 3, 2025. The partnership aims to strengthen preventive education and sensitize school students about the dangers of drug abuse, contributing to the development of informed and responsible citizens
