Rana Sanaullah, political advisor to PM Shahbaz Sharif, addressed the rumors regarding Imran Khan’s health.
He stated that social media claims about imran khan are false and have no basis in reality.
Assured that Imran receives daily medical checkups and all his needs are being met in jail.
Clarified that Imran is currently in Adiala Jail.
Denied claims that Imran has been transferred to another jail.
Family and Lawyers Denied Access
Imran Khan’s family has been unable to meet him for the past three weeks.
Jail authorities are also preventing lawyers from meeting him.
This lack of access has created fear and concern among family members and party activists.
Activists have been continuously protesting outside the jail, demanding proper access.
Government Response and Background
Pakistan’s Home Ministry has not issued any official statement regarding Imran Khan’s situation.
Imran Khan has been in jail since august 2023.
He was sentenced to 14 years in prison in the Taushkhana and corruption cases.
The former prime minister has termed these actions as politically motivated.
