There is no doubt that passing the UPSC test is a difficult undertaking that necessitates a great deal of preparation and commitment. Many people, however, have cleared the UPSC despite all obstacles, and one such example is Preeti Hooda, who became an IAS officer while experiencing severe financial difficulties. Preeti Hooda's father worked as a bus driver, yet she never let her financial situation stop her from pursuing her dreams.

Preeti has excelled in school since she was a youngster, earning 77 per cent in her class 10th exams. Preeti received an 87 per cent in her Class 12 examination. Because of their financial situation, Preeti's family urged her to stop studying and marry. Preeti, on the other hand, completed her education and enrolled in Laxmi Bai college in Delhi, where she graduated with a degree in Hindi. Preeti also earned a PhD in hindi from jawaharlal nehru University (JNU).

Preeti meticulously organised her UPSC preparation and chose hindi as her language of instruction. She also selected hindi as an elective. Preeti did not pass the UPSC test on her first try. Preeti did not give up and appeared for the UPSC test a second time, eventually passing with an All india Rank of 288 in 2017.
