Vijayawada: All preparations have been prepared for the nine-day dasara celebrations at Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy temple atop Indrakeeladri, which will take place from october 7 to 15.

The temple administration has chosen to rigorously observe the Covid restrictions and limit Goddess Kanaka Durga's darshan to 10,000 worshippers each day.

The presiding goddess will be decorated as Sri Swarnakavachalankruta Sri Durga Devi on the first day (Thursday). Devotees will be able to have darshan beginning at 9 a.m. once the rites have been completed. Online tickets will be available for the special pujas.

The goddess will take the form of Sri bala Tripura Sundari Devi on the 8th. Goddess will be dressed as Sri gayatri Devi on the 9th. On the 10th, the deity will appear as Sri Lalita Tripura Sundari Devi. The Goddess will then emerge in Sri annapurna Devi's adornment on the 11th. From 2 p.m. until 10 p.m., the Goddess will appear as Sri Mahalakshmidevi. Goddess Saraswati will be adorned on the 12th from 2 p.m. until 11 p.m. As is customary, chief minister YS jagan Mohan reddy will gift the goddess with silk garments.

On Durgashtami, october 13, the goddess would be decorated as Sri Durga Devi, followed by Sri Mahishasura Mardani Devi on october 14, and Sri Rajarajeswari Devi on Vijaya Dasami, october 15.

The temple management has made all of the necessary arrangements for Kunkumarchana, Sata Chandi Homam, and Sri Chakra Savaavaranaarchana, including queue lines, ticket sales, and prasadam distribution.
