The 109 foreigners who recently returned to Maharashtra, thane district in the wake of the Omicron scare are yet to be traced.

When they searched their addresses many houses were locked when 295 people came from foreign countries. Of these, 109 are in hiding from the authorities.

On the eighth day, the covid-19 test is performed. Officials said the test result was negative but he have to stay in quarantine for another seven days. Members of the respective housing societies must ensure that these standards are met.

So far, 10 Omicron cases have been reported in Maharashtra. The 37-year-old, who arrived in mumbai from south africa on november 25, was first diagnosed with the disease. 


Two more people who arrived in mumbai last night were diagnosed with the disease.
