Fire fighters are one of the important persons in every area. It can be an Urban, rural, natural environment, industrial or anywhere in the world these people are very important as they protect one’s life by keeping their life at risk. These fire fighters may be from place, any country or from any language but all these will fight against one common enemy that is nothing but fire.

So there should be a day for these brave fighters which we will celebrate as international Firefighters days (IFFD). On this day we generally thank and remember the great work done by the present and past fire fighters. This day is generally celebrated on May 4th every year. On this day it is our duty to honor those fire fighters who scarified theirs for the sake of the society. On the other hand we can show how thankful we are to the firefighters who were serving us to protect and safe guard us.
 
On this day we can wear a red and blue ribbons on the remembrance of the firefighters. The color of the ribbon generally represents fire and whereas the blue indicates water, with these two elements only the fire fighters will work.
