National mourning: National flag to fly half-mast for two days..

The government has announced two days of national mourning on the death of Lata, who has received three National Awards, Padma bhushan and Bharat Ratna.
The national flag remains half-mast during national mourning. The half bowing of the national flag shows state mourning. This is done to express condolences on the death of a particular person. Apart from certain fixed posts, the President has the right to decide whether national mourning will be celebrated on the death of a person or not. There are also special rules regarding the half-tilt of the national flag. This happens not only in india but in other countries.
What is the rule?
Whenever this is done, the flag is first raised to full height and then gradually lowered to half-mast. Explain that during this time only the tricolor is bowed halfway. Apart from this, if there is a flag of an institution with the national flag somewhere, then it remains at the normal height. It is not tilted.
On whose death it is done?
The national flag is flown at half-mast on the death of certain personalities of the country, which includes the President, Vice-President, Prime minister, Speaker of Lok Sabha, Justice of the country, Union cabinet minister, Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Chief minister, minister of State. Apart from this, it can be done on the death of a particular person, but the President has the right to decide on it. Guidelines related to this are issued by the Ministry of home Affairs.
The special thing is that if the death of a particular person occurs on Republic Day (26 January), Independence Day (15 August), gandhi Jayanti (October 2), or a state holiday, then the national flag is not hoisted in the country or state, Rather, the national flag is flown at half-mast only on the building in which the body of that particular person is kept.
