Mollywood industry's 1971 Beyond Borders, the forthcoming Mohanlal and Major Ravi movie, has been slated to release for Vishu 2017. The team recently started the final schedule filming of the highly anticipated movie, in Georgia.



According to the sources, the team is shooting the sequences revolves around the UN Peacekeeping Force in Georgia and Mohanlal's character Colonel Mahadevan has been portrayed as a member of the UN Peacekeeping Force in the movie. 1971 Beyond Borders will feature Mohanlal in the double role, as Colonel Mahadevan and his father Major Sahadevan. The movie deals with the real-life incidents happened during the Indo-Pak war of 1971.

The movie has been shot at the various locations of Rajasthan, Kashmir, Punjab, Palakkad, and Perumbavoor. Asha Sharath essays the female lead opposite Mohanlal in the movie. Stay tuned for more updates.
