Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi is on a high with two blockbusters this year - the media exposing Kavan by K.V.Anand and the cop - Gangster action drama Vikram Vedha directed by Pushkar- Gayatri with the latter turning out to be the first hit post GST and becoming that best ever success of both Vijay Sethupathi and Madhavan.
The actor, who just had a release last week with Ranjit Jeyakodi's Puriyatha puthir, is ready for his next avatar - the actor is all set to produce his next flick. Titled Junga, the movie will be directed by Idharkuthaane Aasaipattai Balakumara fame Gokul and will star Vanamagan girl Sayyeshaa as the female lead. The film will mark the return of Aandavan kattalai duo of Yogi Babu - Vijay Sethupathi, as the comedian will be seen with Vijay throughout this entertainer.
Touted to be a mass entertainer with ample doses of action, romance and humour, Junga will be made at a whopping 20 crores budget , and the director reveals that Sayesha was impressed with the story that she came forward to act in the project, and he also added that it would be actor Vijay Sethupathi's costliest film. More than 60 percent of Junga will be shot in France, and few sequences will be shot in Chennai, Tuticorin, and Ramanathapuram. This movie demands 6 months of call sheet from Sayesha and she has agreed to it. Seems, a costly gamble!
