Kota srinivas Rao was born in Kankipadu, krishna district. Kota srinivas Rao was born on July 15th 1945 in a Telegu Brahmin family. He is very much interested in dramas from his childhood. He used to work in State bank before coming into movies. Later, he got married to Rukmini in the year 1968. They had two daughters and one son. His son is also an actor. But, unfortunately in the 2010 July 21st he died in a road crash.
In the year 2017 indian government awarded him with Padma Sri and he also won five Nandi awards. He is one of the famous actor of his times. He used to do extraordinary acting in what ever character is given to him.

So he went to chiranjeevi and pawan kalyan and asked them to give a offer in their movies. Then pawan kalyan immediately gave him an offer in his next movie hari Hara Veeramallu.
