Music director cum actor gv prakash is all prepped to release his new film Adangathey and the film recently went for censor certificate. It is heard that CBFC has denied granting a certificate for the film. The reason behind the denial is said to be because of the scenes where Rajinikanth’s political entry was addressed in a wrong manner.

The movie which is directed by Shanmugam Muthusamy is produced by Sri Green Productions. The movie features Sarathkumar and mandira bedi in pivotal roles. Ivan Vera Mathiri fame surabhi plays the female lead in the film. gv prakash himself scored music for the film.

Coming back to the point, as the CBFC denied censor certificate to the film, the movie unit has approached the revising committee who suggested some 100 cuts, which sums up to 10 minutes of footage in the movie. After the cutting the censor board has given U/A certificate to the movie.

The director himself confirmed the news by saying that they got the clearance with a UA from the Central Board of Film Certification with countless cuts.
