It is pretty common to have competition between the directors, music directors and actors in the movie industry. They always strive hard and give neck and neck competition to each other to stand on top. Such competition is a common site to watch in Tollywood.

Devi Sri prasad has ruled tollywood with his music for years. Recently, Thaman took over the place of Devi by composing record breaking albums. He is giving tough competition to Devi. Thaman in an interview given in the past admitted that there is a healthy competition in the industry between the music directors.

DSP and Thaman came from the school of Mani Sharma. Many times Thaman appreciated Devi for his compositions. However, DSP always stayed tight-lipped about Thaman’s compositions. For the past four or five years these two music directors have been giving tough competition to each other with back to back movies.

However, DSP has slowed down a bit and Thaman took over his craze. Most of the directors that worked with DSP in the past are now tending towards Thaman. Coming to the remuneration, DSP is the one who charges more remuneration in the industry. It is heard that he accepts 4 crores for a movie.

Coming to Thaman after the super success of Ala Vaikunta Puramlo, he has hiked his remuneration and now accepts 3 crores for a movie. Coming to the work front, DSP has films like Pushpa, Khiladi, PSPK28, f3 while Thaman has films like Agent, Sarkari Vaari Paata, Tuck jagadish and Akhanda.
