KGF 2 made profits and KGF 2 is the real glory of Indian Cinema than RRR

RRR and KGF2 have so far been the most popular films of 2022. Both films did well at the box office, while one did better at the regional level and the other did well at both the regional and national levels. Finally, both films' domestic collections (share) have been completed to date. According to trade projections, rrr might earn a producer's cut of roughly Rs 360 crore, while 'KGF2' crossed the Rs 400 crore mark.

The percentage of ROI obtained is relatively little for the type of investment made on rrr, and it's just above the break even point (including overseas and non theatrical collection is also included). According to sources, the film's overall investment is around Rs 550 crore. However, the theatrical business for 'KGF2' is over four times the investment, demonstrating its monster success. It's important to emphasise that the hero, producer, and director for KGF2 are all equal partners. This refers to the type of share each person receives at the end.

RRR was a box office success only in telugu states, but it flopped in Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. Even in hindi, it failed to meet expectations. However, KGF-2 was a huge hit in hindi, followed by telugu and other regional languages. This film has fared significantly better in hindi than in Kannada, where it was made. Overall, it is a celebration of the entire South indian cinema industry for making it big and dominating national domestic box office receipts.
