Despite the director's and his team's best efforts, the Central Board of picture Certification (CBFC) decided against changing the picture's certification from 'A' to 'U/A,' with effects that go beyond the plot of the film. The young actor Arush Varma, who plays Pankaj Tripathi's son in the movie, is at the centre of CBFC's decision. Arush, a 16-year-old, is not allowed to watch his own performance on the big screen because of his age.

Because of the movie's 'A' rating, only those 18 and older are permitted to watch it in public, which makes it impossible for the intended audience to fully appreciate the plot. Arush's family members express their enthusiasm to view the movie with him, only to learn that he won't be allowed to see his own work, illustrating the impact of this certification decision.

Notably, members of the cast of the movie, such as pankaj tripathi and Yami Gautam, disputed the 'A' grade. They emphasised the significance of the movie's theme, which was children's education, and thought it was a crucial and delicate subject. pankaj tripathi plays Kanti sharan Mudgal in "OMG 2," a devoted devotee of Lord Shiva, while akshay kumar plays Lord Shiva's messenger.
