Bombay Meri jaan series is all set for its world premiere on 14th September. This series talks about the life and
rise of Dara Qadri. The story is told through a father, Ismail Qadri, an honest policeman who is torn between his
responsibilities. This series of 10 episodes intricately weaves the story with nature. kk Menon and avinash Tiwari
are the lead actors of the series. While considering casting, director and co-producer Shujaat Saudagar expressed
his desire to work with kay kay menon for the role of Ismail Qadri.
Shujaat Saudagar's wish fulfilled by working with kk Menon
Shujaat said, a script by a brainless, mad person was sent for 'KK'. I have been trying to work with him for almost
20 years, but things never worked out. Also said that if there was anyone who could do justice to the role of Ismail
Qadri, it was this brilliant actor. I needed someone who would come forward and have a unique personality. Have
a glow that speaks volumes. I had this notion in my mind that people only look at the character. Understand his
back story, his life at once. I am happy with how easy 'KK' has made this role."

The series also stars avinash Tiwari, Kritika Kamra, Nivedita Bhattacharya along with amyra dastur in the lead
cast. Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Kasim Jagmagiya and farhan akhtar of Excel media & Entertainment,
Bombay Meri jaan is produced by Rensil D'Silva and Shujaat Saudagar. It is also directed by Saudagar. This Hindi
web series with 10 episodes will premiere on Prime Video. It will premiere not only in India, but also in 240
countries and territories.
