In 2023, Aamir revealed his next project, which he has dubbed "Sitaare Zameen Par," fittingly. The topic of this endeavour is the exploration of the issue in "Taare Zameen Par." aamir khan gave a speech at the News18 conference and disclosed some movie information.

"I won't be able to say much right now, and I haven't discussed it in public. I can discern the title, though. The movie is called "Sitaare Zameen Par." We are taking 10 steps further with the same concept, so you may have recalled my film Taare Zameen Par. The name of this film is Sitaare Zameen Par," aamir khan said, stressing that "Sitaare Zameen Par" will make people laugh and weep.

Speaking more about the project, Aamir said, "We carefully picked this name since the premise is the same. We are carrying on this subject because everyone has imperfections but also something unique. The last film aamir khan appeared in was the official adaption of "Forrest Gump," "Laal Singh Chaddha." Acting was not the actor's thing after the movie's lacklustre box office success.
