Bollywood actor shreyas talpade suffered a heart attack on december 14, 2023, after completing the shooting of his upcoming film Welcome to the Jungle. The actor is now back and ready to shoot again. Recently, Shreyas said in an interview, when he was returning home from the sets of 'Welcome to the Jungle', he felt short of breath and felt pain in his left hand. At first, he thought it was a muscle strain as he was shooting action sequences, but matters worsened when he sat in his car.
He said that as soon as he reached home, his wife Deepti saw him in that condition and took him to the hospital, but at the hospital gate, the actor felt that his face had become numb and then he died. Shreyas said, 'Some people came to our rescue and took me inside. The doctors gave CPR, gave electric shock, that's how they revived me.
The actor said, "Clinically I was dead. It was a massive cardiac arrest and if it had not been treated immediately I would not have been able to breathe again." Calling it a second chance in life, Shreyas thanked those who came to his aid when he needed it most and also said that he owes his life to his wife.
Shreyas also said that one of his arteries had 100 percent blockage, while the other had 99 percent blockage, due to which a stent had to be inserted through angioplasty.
